We've officially had our first visitor to North Carolina. Theresa tacked a visit on the end of a trip to Washington D.C. She came to work with me one day then hung out with Kenyon the next. We wanted to make her time memorable in North Carolina - give her a little adventure. Kenyon went above and beyond the call of duty. While taking her to the airport, they got in a car accident. The blue ant had to be towed and I had to leave work in a hurry. I borrowed a car from a friend from work, Alexa, and was on my way in no time. Amazingly, Theresa was able to make her flight and even made it back to KC 10 minutes early. We, however, are still awaiting the report on the blue ant, can it be fixed or will it be totalled? I've always thought it was a one accident vehicle, not really built to last but excellent on gas mileage, we'll see what the insurance company says.
Theresa, it was great to have you in our neck of the woods. Come back any time.
