A few years years ago a very good friend of mine, Fiona, bought me a house warming gift. She thought it would be hillarious to give me a "hello, kitty" toaster. The notorious face sits prominently on my counter top. The real gem of this gift is that it burns a "hello kitty" face in to everything it toasts - toaster waffles, bread, bagles, etc. My favorite morning breakfast is toast with peanut butter (peanut butter is a staple in my diet, if I ever move oversease, please send peanut butter!). So, each morning I get breakfast with a smile courtesy of Fiona. Everyone should have a little whimsy in their life!
