Most of the world carries their grocery bags with them, the most popular variety being a typical canvas bag. I recently traveled with someone who lived in Africa for a few years. When his family returned to the States he went grocery shopping and was asked, "paper or plastic?"He had no idea what this question meant. He thought they were referring to payment for his groceries, cash or credit?
So, he answered, “I’ll pay in cash.”
The lady looked at him like he was crazy. Ha!
It's possible we are crazy for being so wasteful?
